The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office has come up with a photo they say shows the getaway car used in the robbery of Citizens Deposit Bank, 110 North Jackson St. in South Webster Monday afternoon.

Captain David Hall said the suspect vehicle in Monday’s bank robbery is a black Monte Carlo SS. The car is pictured driving behind the bus. It is believed to be occupied by two white males.

“If anyone has any information on this vehicle or these suspects we are asking them to please contact Detective Denver Triggs at 740-354-7566,” Hall said.

The day of the robbery the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office released the photo of the person who robbed the bank. That photo was of a male subject wearing a red hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans, a black mask or bandana and a black-billed cap. Now authorities are hoping a combination of the two photos will produce information from the public.

Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said, at around 3:46 p.m. Monday, his office received a call from the alarm company stating the bank had been robbed, dispatch was able to make contact with the bank who stated that a male subject came into the bank demanding money and indicating he had a weapon.

Deputies and detectives responded to the bank and were able to determine that the male subject, described as being tall and thin, walked down North Jackson Street from the 140 direction and entered the front door of the bank, the subject then left on foot and was picked up by another subject in an older model dark colored vehicle with front end damage. Now they believe they can identify the exact vehicle through the surveillance photo.

Donini said information was obtained that the vehicle was seen parked on McDonald Street right before the robbery and the suspect was observed getting out of the vehicle and walking towards the bank.

Donini said the investigation into the robbery is ongoing and his detectives are requesting if anybody has seen this suspect or vehicle to please contact the Sheriff’s Office and not to approach the vehicle. He said anyone with any information concerning the bank Robbery should contact Detective Denver Triggs at the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office at 740- 351-1093. All calls will remain anonymous.
