Vehicle ends up in embankment after crash

GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. — According to reports from the Kentucky State Police in Ashland, a single-car collision is being investigated that occurred on KY 67 at the KY 207 intersection in Greenup County, Ky.


KSP officers report that Tabitha N. Graff, 34, of Shelbyville, Ky., was the driver of a 2008 Chevrolet HHR traveling southbound on KY 67 when Graff lost control, and traveled onto the southbound shoulder of KY 67. Graff’s vehicle navigated onto the right side of southbound KY 67, struck an embankment and overturned.


Graff and Amme Harper, age 32, of Shelbyville, Ky., a passenger in Graff’s vehicle, were transported by Air Evac to Cabell Huntington Hospital. There were no life-threatening injuries to report. According to KSP, seatbelts were in use by both occupants of the vehicle. At this time neither drugs nor alcohol usage is suspected as a contributing factor for the collision.


Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, Greenup Police Department, KDMC Ambulance and Little Sandy Fire Department also assisted at the scene.


KSP is investigated the collision by Trooper Tim Duvall.
