Caudill honored with Telecommunications award

Ohio State Highway Patrol radio dispatcher Scott N. Caudill has been selected for the 2013 Ohio State Highway Patrol Telecommunications Award at the Portsmouth Dispatch Center.

According to the OSHP, The selection of dispatcher Caudill, 32, is in recognition of outstanding service during 2013 at the Portsmouth Dispatch Center as a radio dispatcher. Post Management and dispatchers/communications technicians chose Caudill based on technical job knowledge and ability, enthusiastic work attitude, teamwork, and prompt and courteous response to the public’s requests for information and assistance.

Caudill joined the Highway Patrol in 2010 and has served at the Jackson and Portsmouth dispatch centers. Originally from Minford and a graduate of Minford High School, Caudill served in the U.S. Marine Corps and attended Central Texas University. He also received the Telecommunications Award for the Portsmouth Dispatch Center and the Jackson District in 2012.

Caudill and his wife Anne live in Minford with their children Peyton, 6, and Easton, 4.
