Ohio Automotive Center in Portsmouth has announced plans to remodel and refurbish current facilities.

“After a low key opening, one year ago, we decided the time and location was right to bring a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealership back to Portsmouth,” said Greg and Lydia Crawford, owners of Ohio Automotive Center.

They said that in keeping with Chrysler’s corporate image in mind they decided to move forward with the remodel and refurbishment.

E.B Lowman also an owner of Ohio Automotive Center said, “this is an exciting time in the U.S. domestic automotive industry and we think that a modern facility will enhance a great range of product.”

The Crawfords and Lowan said they are excited about the new line of Jeep Cherokees being hailed as the future of the SUV.

“We are delighted with the welcome that we received when opening the dealership and we love to support local events such as River Days, Chamber of Commerce and school sporting events,” the Crawfords said.

They said renovation work will begin in the early spring and will include a complete remodel and refurbishment of the showroom, service center and detail areas.

Ohio Automotive Center is located at 1202 Offnere St., in Portsmouth. For more information visit them at www.sciotochryslerdodgeramjeep.com.
