GREENUP, Ky. — Greenup Christian Church presents the Greenup Christian Church Youth in “Life 101” on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. in the GCC Family Life Center.

Mike Dennis, minister at GCC said the play will provide valuable lessons for life.

“The production of “Life 101” is full of joy and life lessons. The play is a perfect start to your Christmas season,” Dennis said.

According to GCC, the story of “Life 101” reveals Jesus in classroom in the heavenly clouds. The clouds serve as the place where Jesus prepares for his life and time on Earth.

The play is for audiences of all ages, from preschool through high school.

Life 101 depicts the life of Jesus and his daily experiences from preschool through high school.

Jesus enters preschool after a heart-felt conversation that he has with his father.

As the scenes unfold, Jesus interacts with Old Testament figures for instruction and guidance.

“Life 101” continues into elementary school, as Jesus learns about following instructions, praying and obeying.

The middle school experience provides lessons in suffering, forgiveness and trust.

The latter portion of the play involves Jesus’s high school experience, dealing with temptation, sacrifice and faithfulness. The conclusion of “Life 101” is a graduation sending Jesus off to his birth on Earth.
