Candlelight Service at Rush Free Baptist Church, Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. Music is furnished by Covered by Love, and Bro. Tom Voglesong will be preaching.
Berean Baptist services
Berean Baptist Church, in Sciotoville, has announced its services.
9:30 a.m. Sunday School; 10:40 a.m. Sunday Worship Service; 4:45 p.m. Sunday Adult Choir Practice; 5:30 p.m. Sunday Men and Ladies Prayer Meeting; 6:45 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. AWANA and the New Life Teens; 7 - 8:15 p.m. Wednesday Prayer Meeting; 11 a.m. Saturday Bus Ministry Visitation.
Pastor Tim Goodwin will be preaching in both the a.m. and p.m. services on Sunday, Nov. 10. A 100-percent vote taken on Sunday evening, Nov. 3 to take on Lyle Trembly family as missionaries to China. Special 37th anniversary recognition to Stuart and Anita Payne on Nov. 13. Missionaries of the week are Ron and Brenda Ruse, serving in Nova Scotia, Canada and supported by Berean since April 2002. November 9 church-wide breakfast and visitation at 8 a.m. Nov. 10 missionaries Vitaliy and Ann Sokol from Ukraine in the Sunday service. Nov. 11 Youth Rally at 7 p.m. Handbells rehearsal on November 10, 17 and 24, getting ready for special performances in the area in December. Board meeting Nov. 18 at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20 missionaries Chad and Wendy Justice, from Dominican Republic in the Wednesday night prayer service.
First Church of Christ services
Services for Sunday, Nov. 10, will include Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., worship at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the First Church of Christ, 1224 Dogwood Ridge Road, Wheelersburg. The annual congregational meeting will be conducted following the 10:30 a.m. worship service. and choir will practice at 5:15 p.m.
Several items, which are still need for Operation Christmas Child, includes hairbows, big erasers, toys for boys, 70 stuffed animals and lots of individually wrapped candy.

Christ Brethren services
Christ Brethren Church 5877 St. Rt. 139 will be holding services on Sunday Nov. 10 starting with morning services at 9:30 a.m. Sunday evening services at 7 p.m. A Wednesday evening service will be held at 7 p.m. we will be studying Luke in the Bible. Everyone welcome with Bob Davis Pastor.
McDermott Community of Christ services
McDermott Community of Christ will have church school service Sunday at 9:30 a.m. with with worship by Mick & Brenda Gillette, followed by classes. Elder Sandy Cable will preside over the 10:45 worship service and the Worship Commission will have theme development, with the theme being “Bless God’s Name Forever.” Brenda Gillette will have the children’s ministry. Ministry of music will be by Jeremy Miller. Bev Meadows will be pianist for the service. The Wednesday afternoon prayer service will begin at 3 p.m., and Pastor Ed Cable will preside. A free lunch is served every Thursday from 11 to 1 p.m. with everyone in the community welcome.
Lucasville Community of Christ services
The Lucasville Community of Christ, Thomas Hollow Road, will hold services on Sunday, Nov. 10, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Sunday School - 9:45 a.m., and Worship Service - 10:30 a.m. The theme for Sunday is “Bless God”s Name Forever”, with Elder Paul Gregory presiding over the service. Deacon Paula Bramblett will bring the morning message.
Wednesday Evening Service - 6 p.m., “ADULT NIGHT OUT GROUP” 5:30 p.m. - LAROSA’S.
Allen Chapel Church of Christ
The Allen Chapel Church of Christ will be holding a revival November 10th - 13th at 7 pm. Brother Leo “Henry” Glancy will bringing the message each night. There will be special singing featuring local talent and a nursery will be available. West Portsmouth Community of Christ
Community of Christ 2237 Russell Avenue West Portsmouth will “Bless God’s Name Forever” at their 10:30 AM Morning Worship Service on Sunday Nov. 10. Stacie Stephens will develop the weekly World Church theme and Kathy Deemer will bring forth the ministry of music. Children’s Church will also begin at 10:30 a.m. This is also “Subway Sunday” when the saints go marching into the West Portsmouth Subway for fellowship at 9 AM with Kathy Deemer leading the study of “Christ Mission Is Our Mission”
Grace Baptist Church anniversary
Grace Baptist Church will be celebrating their 54th anniversary on Nov. 17. Guest speaker will be Tom Wright; he was a former pastor and served our Lord Jesus Christ and shepherded the flock for 10 years. Being led by our Lord to Maranatha Baptist Church in Columbus where he is their senior pastor. He has also served on the Board of the Council of 12 for the G.A.R.B.C. of Ohio. In the morning service starting at 10:30 a.m., East to West will be the guest singers. A dinner will be served and then we will be blessed by a concert at 2 p.m. There will be something for everyone, children age 4-5 will be taught by Amy and Cheryl Beckett. The grades 1-6 will be taught by Peggy King in junior church. Nursery will also be available. Rob McKinney the pastor is inviting everyone to come and join in celebrating their 54th year of service to our Lord Jesus Christ at Grace Baptist Church, 8186 State Route 139, in Minford.
