Fall Festival will take place at All Saints’ Episcopal Church beginning Saturday, Oct. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 6.

Tim Angel, Evangelism Commission Chairman at All Saints, said this is their first attempt at having a fall festival.

“We are excited about the Fall Festival. This is our first attempt to have such an event. We wanted to do something for the community, and we thought this would be a good way to give back,” Angel said

Angel said admission to the Fall Festival is free, with minimal costs for refreshments.

“The refreshments will include beans and cornbread, hot dogs and drinks,” Angel said.

He said the activities are family-friendly, and will include a pumpkin carving Contest, pie and baked goods Auction, Chinese auction, children’s games.

“One very special part of the festival will be the blessing of the animals. The Priest of All Saints Episcopal Church, Father Steve Cuff is going to be there for The Blessing of the Animals,” Angel said.

Angel said the festival will feature The Blessing of the Animals, Saturday, Oct. 6, at 4 p.m. The public is invited to bring their pets or photos of their pets.

He said Cuff is also available to make house calls for pets which cannot be brought to the church yard.

According to Angel, live music will be provided by Steve Free Sunday afternoon for the community to enjoy.
