Soul Seekers is holding its eighth annual Revival at Tracy Park. The Revival began Monday, and will convene nightly at 6 p.m. until Sunday, Sept. 15.

Rev. Ty Crabtree is the founder of Soul Seekers ministries and said it is all about compelling people to Christ.

“The theme for the Revival is ‘Just Stand.’ Our main objective is to win souls to Christ, to see lives delivered,” Crabtree said.

He said his own past struggles with drug addiction inspires him to reach out to others.

“I struggled with drug addiction for 12 years until God delivered me. I just want to let other people out there facing addiction to know that God can do the same for them,” Crabtree said.

He said he also hopes the Revival will help local churches to unify.

“I hear many people talk about denominations. I don’t represent any particular denomination, I represent Jesus Christ,” Crabtree said. “I want to see all of the churches come together and worship together.”

He said the Revival will include a different preacher each night from the local area, Cincinnati and Kentucky. There will also be singing during praise and worship.

Crabtree said he will also collect prayer requests to attach to a cross which will be positioned by the stage in the park.

“We’ve got to get back to that old time religion, which is the cross. I am basing the Revival on that as well,” Crabtree said.
