Trojans improve record to 6-2

Portsmouth defeated Logan in a best of five tennis match Wednesday to improve its record to 6-2.

Ali Miller won in straight sets without dropping a game to open the contest. After the Chieftains tied the match at one a piece, Chelsea Cartee gave the Trojans a lead they would never reliqensh. Cartee won in straight sets while only losing three games.

Portsmouth rounded out the victory by winning both doubles contest.

The Trojans return to the court on September, 9 as the host Unioto.
