A woman with pills in her bra has received a court summons from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.

Brooke Collis, 29, of 218 River St., Friendship, faces a charge of possession of drugs, after deputies initiated a traffic stop on Slab Run. Deputies said the vehicle was occupied by two people and the driver, a male, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was removed from the vehicle and the Ohio State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene.

Officers were given permission to search the vehicle, so they asked the passenger, Collis, to step out. When she did, deputies said she dropped her handbag and a hypodermic syringe fell out.

The OSHP trooper read Collis her rights and asked if she had anything else. She said she did, and pulled a blue pill from her bra. She advised officers the pill was a Valium. The trooper then had her step in front of his patrol car and pull her bra out slightly revealing herself. It was then officers said another eight pills fell out.

Collis reportedly advised officers she had used heroin earlier in the day but didn’t have any on her. The pills confiscated were identified as Diazapam (Valium) 10 milligram tablets.

Collis was issued a court summons.
