Drew Scarberry’s 21 points and eight rebounds paced host Northwest in a 68-43 nonconference win over New Boston.


Marcus Potter added 12 points and Jordan Adkins contributed with 10 in the victory. Shane Buckley’s 29 points led all scorers in the loss.


The Mohawks will host Wheelersburg in Friday’s conference finale. The Tigers venture the same night to Clay.

JD Widdig’s 13 points and Derek Moore’s 11 paced visiting Wheelersburg Tuesday night but it wasn’t enough as Greenup County (Ky.) grabbed the 51-47 meeting.

Jeremy Bond led all scorers with 20 points in the win for the Musketeers. The Pirates will travel to Northwest Friday night.
