Southern Ohio Medical Center and Bristol Village in Waverly are presenting the 15th annual Wine Tasting and Art Show at the historic Grand Restaurant and Tavern in Waverly, on Nov. 17. The doors will open at noon offering award-winning wines from Ohio wineries complimented by cheeses, desserts and fruit. According to the Pike County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Pike Chamber of Commerce and the Pike Art Guild, they will be featuring several wineries not previously showcased at that event.
The art show presented by the Pike Art Guild, is a regular feature of the event. The art will be presented for sale and may be viewed throughout the day. You also will be able to cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award and see if your pick wins.
Don Perry, from the Cleveland area, will be performing blues type sounds of saxophone and song. He will feature renditions of old and new favorites and some of his own compositions.
The event is held during the Jingle Bell Parade Weekend, as always, is the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Tickets are $15 donation and can be purchased at the Pike County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Pike Chamber of Commerce, and the Pike Art Guild. or at the door the day of the event. Anyone needing information may call 740-947-9650.
