CHILLICOTHE — The West Senators fell to 0-3 after a 24-7 loss to Chillicothe Friday evening.

A weather delay prolonged the game and the Senators, who started sophomore Steven Irwin for the first time this season, saw their season’s struggles continue as Chillicothe found offense West could not.

Irwin finished with 10 completions on 25 attempts for 140 yards but threw two interceptions on the night.

Justin Crace rushed for 59 yards while Austin Bricker had four receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown.

Zach Frye had a team-high eight tackles for the Senators tying teammate Tristan White. Frye also added an interception.

Alex Meeker and Irwin each had a fumble recovery.

West will play host Rock Hill next week in search of their first win of the season.
