Minnie Frances Neely, 87, of Lucasville, died Oct. 15, 2011 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

She was born May 17, 1924 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth Neff Loper.

Minnie was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters Mary (Eddie) Wise of McDermott and Carolyn Neely of Lucasville; one son, George Neely of Lucasville; 11 grandchildren, Brenda McTurner, Tabatha Hinch, Christiane Caylor, Nichole Neely, Edward Wise, Edward Neely, Tyler Neely, Billy Neely, Kenneth Hockenheimer, Victor Hockenheimer, and Eric Neely; several great grandchildren; and one sister Betty Neely.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Cecil Neely May 1, 1998; one son Howard Neely; one granddaughter Patty Munion; two brothers George and Melvin Loper; and one sister, Elfie Barton.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Bob Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Lucasville Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
