Thirteen people were arrested by the Portsmouth Police Department following an undercover prostitution operation Thursday.
Included were eight woman and five men: Jennifer Shepherd, 32, of Portsmouth; Savanna Darby, 25, of Portsmouth; Sandra Cade, 51, of New Boston; Chad Jobe, 29, of Ashland, Ky.; Melissa King, 25, of Portsmouth; Blair Copen, 40, of Lucasville; Terry Shope, 40, of Lucasville; Dena Cook, 26, of Portsmouth; Carol King, 31, of New Boston; Elizabeth Piatt, 21, of Portsmouth; Tommy Conley, 40, of Wheelersburg; Steven Strickland, 38, of McDermott; and Angela Reed, 27, of Portsmouth.
Each were charged with third-degree misdemeanor soliciting. Angela Reed was also charged with second-degree misdemeanor possession of drug abuse instruments and fourth-degree misdemeanor drug paraphernalia.
